Smash through the chocolate to get to layers of date caramel, banana and creamy Greek Recipe yogurt whipped with nut butter. These little pots are delicious and so simple to make.

Ingredients

4 small glass jars

Method

  1. To make the date caramel, pit your dates and put them in a bowl, pour over boiling water and soak for 15 minutes. Once soaked, drain your dates and then pop them in a blender. Blend the dates with the milk until you get a thick caramel consistency. Set aside in a small bowl or jar. 

  2. In another bowl, mix your yoghurt and peanut butter.

  3. To assemble, spoon a layer of the date caramel into the bottom of your jars. Then, layer your banana on top of the caramel, followed by the nut butter and yogurt. Finally, top your pots with the melted dark chocolate and set aside in the fridge to set. 

Tip: if you have any leftover date caramel store in a jar in the fridge for up to 3 days and enjoy dolloped on breakfast for a natural sweetener.
