Organic Garden Reviews
This is a beautiful garden in a lovely location with views of Blagdon Lake. Entry charge is good value. There are many varied areas in the garden including an enclosed pool garden, grass garden, vegetable garden, glasshouses, wildflower meadow, woodland, pond, borders, birch wood and terraces around the house. Being organic it is buzzing with insect life.
My wife and I visit many gardens but, after our visit to Sarah Mead's garden at Yeo Valley, we felt we had died and gone to heaven. Her creation is simply inspiring with the garden being a delightful mixture of creative planting, wonderful colour pallets round each corner, some beautiful sculptural pieces and the occasional dash of humour here and there (I would say though that the “pun master” is possibly given bit too much of a free rein!) This garden is a masterpiece.
Just wanted to say what a beautiful day out Yeo Valley Garden is… the setting is peaceful and picturesque… the staff are friendly and informative and when our car broke down they could not have been more helpful, trying to start our car then offering us refreshments whilst we waited for the recovery truck …. I can recommend all the cakes
We visited this garden in the pouring rain and it was stunning, we think it is one of the best gardens we have visited, some lovely metal work items too- you just need to take your time and look at everything. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the cafe was great, it is very tastefully decorated with lots of quirky bits, especially the menu board. Food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. The surrounding scenery is rather lovely too.
A very memorable afternoon at Yeo Organic Garden. beautifully laid out garden, which has been thoughtfully designed. A very calm atmosphere in each area. The different planting, colours, structuring and design of each section of the garden, gives a huge amount of pleasure. The food in the cafe was excellent.
